Villa Ranmenika, Ahungalla

(SKU: LK1500C06E) It all started in the year 1986 when the chair lady of Villa Ranmenika was holidaying in Sri Lanka. She was fascinated with the greeting of the elephant at the hotel where she was staying. This was the love bondage that made her to buy the elephant for herself. Thereafter she wanted to have a land to keep the elephant in the best of care and protection. This made her to invest in the present land and also made her to come frequently to Sri Lanka. Her love for the elephant so great that she made a lovely pool and house for the elephant. Subsequently she constructed the villa and now has made Sri Lanka her home. The Villa commenced its operation since 2001 as a fully fledged, Tourist Board approved 3* Villa which caters to both foreign and local tourists.
